On the occasion of World Alzheimer's Day on September 21, the Plan Alzheimer Foundation launched its new website: fondation-alzheimer.org. The objective of this site is to provide scientific and practical information on Alzheimer's disease, validated by specialists and written by doctors and researchers.

It is aimed at the general public, patients and carers, researchers, healthcare and support professionals, journalists. This site, accompanied by the baseline “For research on Alzheimer's disease”, provides the most recent information, commented by the best specialists, as well as an overview of national and international research on disease and answers to the most common questions that everyone is asking.

A mobile application: Alzheimer Infos

To allow all stakeholders to be constantly informed of recent advances in care and research, the Alzheimer Plan Foundation has developed the Alzheimer Infos mobile application.

This application gives clear and concise access to recent information concerning the progress of research and the various aspects of the disease: origin of the disease, diagnosis, therapy, medico-social care, daily life.

The information is accessible in the form of texts, audio or ehealth sequences in which French or foreign experts in Alzheimer's disease intervene. The authors of the application are doctors and researchers.
