North Focals Adds Tighter Integration of Android Notifications
North Focals has updated its smart glasses to include support for native Android notification actions. The new functionality allows Focal Owners to act on any notification shortcuts that Android developers may have added to their applications.
On North Focals, with Gmail for example, you can delete and archive emails using the loop ring provided with each pair. I find this idea quite attractive and practical; but you would have to Review to make sure.
To activate native Android notification shortcuts, launch the Focals app on your Android smartphone and go to the "Experiences" section. Once there, you'll see a little toggle that activates the functionality at the top of the page. For now, native notification shortcuts are only available to Focal owners who pair their laptop with an Android smartphone.
North Focals smart health connected glasses have a small projector that produces a holographic image that only the wearer can see; a very good point. It is this functionality that is central to what the laptop promises to potential users. North positions Focals as a way to keep people in touch with the world; surrounding them by reducing their dependence on smartphones. Another way to build on that promise is to allow Android users to act on app notifications.
Earlier this year, North cut the price of the Focals by $ 400; increasing the smart glasses to $ 599 instead of $ 999. So, if you are interested in this update, the price will allow you to Review this little wearable. Personally, I think this is the first time that smart glasses have really interested me. I like their shape, their discretion, their well thought out functionality, etc. I will talk to you about it very certainly!
