Oculus Touch: a nice mouth fuck!

Today I'm going to talk to you about the Oculus Touch and its shamefully ridiculously high price. Currently in pre-order, this accessory for the Facebook VR headset is sold at a price of around 220 euros. Yes, 220 euros for this little accessory!

Oculus Touch is just a touch controller that can be used with Facebook's Oculus Rift headset. To offer this pair of controllers at this price is shameful; especially when you add it to the original price of the helmet. The note is quickly salty. The price was raised by Engadget reporter Nick Summers at a Game store that is one of the brand's official partners.

The price displayed by Game is an official price for pre-orders. The store therefore did not artificially inflate the price; one would have thought it considering the price displayed. Let's do the math, with a helmet that already costs 699 euros, if we add the 220 euros for the accessory, the full pack costs … 919 euros! Personally, I like this helmet but frankly, offering products for the general public at this price … As I said in the title of this article, it’s damn good !!! Let's also add that you need a rather high-end PC to use it and that most of the content is chargeable. In short, this little product is a luxury product! We are very far from VR for all of whom Marc Zuckerberg spoke during the last MWC in Barcelona.

So, if you have to choose a VR headset in the next few days, go see Samsung's Gear VR or buy the PlayStation VR. It will be marketed on October 13 at a price of 399 euros. Even if you will probably need an accessory and the console to fully use the latter, the note will still be less salty than with the Facebook headset.
