Oral-B unveils GENIUS, its new smart health connected toothbrush

On the occasion of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ​​the leader of the Oral-B electric toothbrush announced a new intelligent model succeeding his SmartSeries: the GENIUS.

This new product is really innovative in the sense that it offers many new and very useful features: motion tracking of the user, pressure recording during brushing, analysis of the time of washing … The GENIUS is thus able to you to alert when you forget to take care of a part of your teeth (which happens to 80% of people). She also has other assets like a timer in order to avoid exceeding the recommended 2 minutes of cleaning, a triple pressure control done to make sure you do not spoil your cheeks (like 93% of people) or even the traditional head argument that perfectly matches the shape of your teeth.

The tool has 6 modes different brushing, selectable at the will of the one who uses it: daily cleanliness, deep cleansing, whitening, massage, sensitive and washing of language (yes, yes, it exists …). We can also change the color of the device thanks to technology SmartRing which animates a 360 ° multicolored lighting.

The case that comes with the toothbrush allows it to be recharged via a port USB (compatible with any other device). With this, a support is offered to fix your phone on your mirror, in order to consult statistics (or anything else!) live. In addition, the gadget is equipped with a battery Li-ion expected to last 20% longer than the competition, for a duration of 2 weeks, with a 40% faster recharge.

All information collected is of course transmitted to the smartphone of the buyer via the application Oral-B App (available on iOS and Android) so that he can consult them at any time to be inspired to improve the quality of his brushing teeth.
