Oreo update – List of eligible smartwarches

After releasing its Oreo update for Android Wear smartwatches last December, Google has announced that seven new smart health connected watches will receive the famous software update.

The Oreo update was first released for the LG Watch Sport and Michael Kors Access Sofie. The seven new wearables that will receive this update are: the Casio Pro Trek Smart WSD-F20 and the WSD-F10, the Ticwatch S and the Ticwatch E, the Huawei Watch 2, the Polar M600 and the ZTE Quartz.

There is no set schedule, but the fact that this has confirmed suggests that the owners of these smartwatches should receive the Oreo update in the coming days. However, if you own a Huawei Watch 2, you might be a little disappointed. Users on Reddit suggest that devices outside the UK and the US will see Android Pay disabled after the update.
