Equipped with a temperature sensor integrated in the silicon teat of the pacifier, Pacif-i transmits the data via Bluetooth 4.0. The application records the temperature readings and converts them to a graph. Parents can also use the app to tell their kids about the medication, alerts, reminders, and share all of that with their doctor.

Pacif-i also has a proximity sensor which allows parents to monitoring the location of the pacifier and therefore of the child and thus be alerted by an alarm if it goes too far. On the application, it is possible to adjust the distance up to 20 meters.

The Pacif-i smart health connected pacifier also has an audible alarm which can be activated via the smartphone in order to find it quickly and easily. Currently in pre-order at the price of 30 euros, this smart pacifier will be available from the beginning of this year. It's a safe bet that many parents who are a little anxious buy one.
