Pebble's first round smartwatch

The Pebble TimeRound is the brand's first round smartwatch which also presents it as the thinnest and lightest smartwatch in the world.

Peeble TimeRound smartwatch

The Pebble TimeRound is only 7.5mm thick and its dial is 38.5mm, but the screen does not cover all of it. On the battery side, it's disappointment. While the brand had accustomed us and communicated on the lifespan of several days of the battery of its watches, its latest smartwatch only has two days of autonomy. To compensate for this, Pebble notes that the battery of its smart health connected watch can be recharged very quickly in just 15 minutes; for 24 hours of use …

Like the other watches in the range, the TimeRound has a microphone for voice commands, a 64-color display with backlight and is water resistant. It can display notifications, time, battery level, etc. Obviously, the watch offers many finishes in terms of materials and color. Pebble also offers two different versions of TimeRound: a men's version and a women's version. The men's watch will offer a bracelet measuring 20 mm and the women's watch will offer a bracelet measuring 14 mm.

On the software side, Pebble offers to refresh the "page" rather than scrolling through the information line by line and has tried to maximize the amount of information that can be displayed on the screen. At the same time, Pebble offers an SDK for developers to allow them to develop or adapt their applications.

My thing was grumbling at the exit of Pebble Time Steel because of the displayed price (and therefore especially the quality / price ratio in comparison with the other smartwatches on the market), I must admit that the brand has succeeded in a smartwatch that looks (well ) to a real watch that we will wear with pleasure. You can already pre-order it for 299.99 euros on the Pebble website and on Amazon. It will then be available from November 8. Watch this little ehealth to wait.
