Pedal smart health connected with JIVR

[ad_1]

JIVR is an electric bike equipped with Bluetooth and Beacon technologies. In addition to being able to connect to many devices, it is also robust and foldable. A real electric bike, smart health connected and practical.

Leave the car in the garage

It is more and more regularly recommended to people, mainly residents of large cities, to do without their car and use their legs. However, traveling several kilometers in the morning before going to work takes time and tires. That’s why a lot of people opt for electric bikes, scooters (etc.).

A small efficient and robust motor

The JIVR electric motor offers you up to 32kms of autonomy to one maximum speed of 32km / h with a single charge in assisted pedaling. And he just has to two hours, plugged into any outlet of current to recharge its batteries. His chainless transmission system helps prevent grease stains on the bottom of the pants and gets your hands dirty after a derailment. In addition, it is fully recessed in the frame and is therefore fully protected for more durability and no maintenance required. Its hydraulic discs give you optimal braking.

Practical design

Practical, the JIVR is easily foldable and transportable. Four simple gestures are enough to convert it into "travel" mode and then store it in the corner of a room or under a desk. However, the beast still weighs its 15kgs, which is not excessive for a motorbike, but remains fairly heavy when transported. In addition, you have to see what it contains inside, because JIVR is not just a simple electric bike.

Pedal smart health connected

Indeed, the JIVR has some advantages under the hood. Equipped with technologies Bluetooth 4.0 and Beacon, it can connect to almost any device like smartphone, tablet, smartwatch or computer. There is a place on the handlebars for embed your phone. From there, thanks to the JIVR application, check your GPS, your kilometers traveled, your calories burned, and manage the electric power of your bike.

Applications in development

Although the JIVR can connect to many devices, we do not know what applications will be available at the moment. It would seem that these are in development. To be able to offer a wide range, the smart health connected bike will participate in two hackathon, one in London (where the start-up is based) and the other in San Francisco. The principle of this kind of gathering being to give free rein to the imagination of developers in order to bring out a maximum of innovative applications. The start-up hopes to have, at the end of these events, a complete catalog to offer free to JIVR users.

JIVR Care

The JIVR is designed to do not require maintenance, however, if something happens to you, a breakdown service will be there to help you. This is called JIVR Care. It guarantees you an intervention in 48 hours, at health home, to repair or change your smart health connected bike, and this completely free of charge. Do you find that a bit big? You are not completely wrong. Indeed, the Care service will only be available that in big cities with more than a million inhabitants where more than 200 smart health connected bikes will have been distributed. Basically, if you live in the depths of the countryside, you will have to make do.

It rolls on Kickstarter

To complete the project, a crowdfunding campaign was launched on Kickstarter. She has already reported £ 62,500 (€ 85,200) on a target set at £ 70,000 (95.400 €). Knowing that he has left 16 days, she just might get there. If by a miracle it passes the £ 300,000 mark, a new color will be proposed, but that seems unlikely.

Become Ambassador

Different packs are available, but before I detail their content, I must tell you about “Ambassador Program”. In order to offer big discounts on the price of its bike, the start-up has developed a program offering low prices, in exchange for feedback on the use of the product. Basically, we make you a very good price on the JIVR, but in return you ride regularly, post photos and videos, share your experiences on social networks, etc. But like JIVR Care, this program is only available in large cities.

Itchy rates

The best offer is £ 699 (950 €) for those residing in London or in the bay of San Francisco, either 65% reduction. Because yes the price of JIVR once the campaign is over and the product sold will be £ 2,000 (2.700 €)… Which is still a lot for an electric bike, even when smart health connected. If you live in another city with more than a million inhabitants, you will have to pay £ 849 (1.150 €) to offer it, then £ 1,099 (€ 1,500) once the first 100 were served. However, if you live in less populated areas, you will have to pay £ 1,199, then £ 1,349, £ 1,499 and £ 1,749 according to the remaining stocks. For £ 1 more you can still join the ambassador program, but all its interest will be gone. JIVR deliveries are scheduled for months August and September 2020. The manufacturing will take place this summer in a factory located in Mielec, Poland, the city of origin of the designer.

A good product too expensive

Even if JIVR seems to be a product quality, with the potential to offer many innovative applications, its price can quickly cool down. If you’re interested, then you’re better off run on prices discounts from the countryside before there are no more, especially if you live in a big city. But personally, I find it it's a bit excessive to sell a product at this price without already having a wide range of dedicated applications to offer.
