PIVOT the new biomechanical Tennis sensor from TuringSense
[ad_1]
The start-up TuringSense is developing a new biomechanical sensor for tennis fans: PIVOT.
Residing in Silicon Valley, this small business focused on new sports portable technologies aims to improve, facilitate and optimize sports performance. Like the Zepp sensor, PIVOT will be placed on the player himself.
PIVOT is the first multi-sensor full broadband analyzing the body and its movements. Composed of 5 to 15 sensors placed on the player is a mobile analysis system without camera. The PIVOT platform consists of two components: a package of portable sensors that can be attached to different parts of the body or clothing, and the mobile application. The data analyzed on the smartphone allows you to get better information on your abilities and prevent possible injuries.
TuringSense claims to be the only company offering a sensor capable of detecting peripheral movements, at high speed and 360 ° without the need to use expensive cameras. It is also the first company to make available the data collected in the cloud in order to offer real-time and constantly updated access. It also allows you to compare the results obtained with lthousands of reference movements already stored in the PIVOT library, then share your data with their coaches and loved ones through social media.
TuringSense just received an investment from 3,000,000 for their solution and should soon launch a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter.
