Plouf: Sowee's new Tamagotchi to control its energy consumption!
[ad_1]
I had presented to you several months ago the Sowee Station, which allows you to save energy at health home, by optimizing its heating. This Station, integrating the Alexa voice assistant, also allows you to control your entire house: lighting, smart health connected sockets, robot vacuum cleaner, etc. The originality of this solution is its large screen capable of displaying widgets so that you can always keep an eye on important information: weather, journey time, air quality, etc. A new widget has just appeared: Plouf, a polar bear whose health will directly depend on your eco-actions …
Sowee, which is primarily a supplier of electricity and gas, has developed a smart health connected station to more efficiently manage its energy consumption. The operation is rather original, since it is possible to optimize the heating according to the budget, or according to the desired comfort. I will not re-detail everything here, I invite you to (re) read the complete Sowee Review that I had made.
The other originality of this Sowee station is its large, tall screen, displaying various information via customizable widgets (or services). Time, weather, risk of precipitation, off-peak / peak hours, house temperature, or even air quality are some of the information that I display on mine. There are a total of 9 widgets to meet different needs. The latest one is original to say the least, since it is a kind of Tamagotchi, called "Plouf".
Plouf is a cute polar bear, born a year ago, on the occasion of the first edition of the Sowee Data Challenge. 8 teams had to imagine new widgets for the Sowee station. There were some great ideas, with a todo list management, a guardian angel offering challenges, help with sorting, etc. It was the Plouf project that won the competition, and which is now available to Sowee users.
To make Plouf appear on his station, you will have to select his widget in the mobile application, and position it in the first position, because it needs a little space (and yes, after all it is a bear
But what is Plouf for? You all know that polar bears are threatened, in particular because of global warming, which directly impacts their living conditions? Well, the conditions of your health home will directly impact the living conditions of Plouf!
Plouf's appearance will thus be able to evolve according to three indicators:
his build: if Plouf is losing weight, it is because he can no longer find enough fish to eat, so he loses weight and endangers his health. To help him, you will have to pay attention to your consumption!
his smile: if Plouf seems down, it is that the air quality in your health home is not pleasant: CO2 level or humidity are to be reviewed!
the size of its pack ice: if you overheat your house, its pack ice will melt. You will have to learn to heat to the ideal temperature so that it finds a comfortable pack ice, necessary for its survival.
If one of the elements does not suit Plouf, it will be enough to click on Plouf to check what is wrong.
A system of 3 bricks appears for each element: consumption, temp, and air. If an element displays at least one of the three empty bricks, it means that the optimal conditions are not met.
You can then simply turn down the heating, check your energy consumption, or even simply open the window a little to find healthier air and thus take care of Plouf, whose condition should quickly improve.
A rather original idea, therefore, which will sensitize children very easily: it did not take them long to notice this new companion on the Station. And as soon as he shows a sign of weakness, the children quickly pull the alarm bell so that we react, so that Plouf quickly feels better
Thank you for your registration !
