Puma launches its first smart health connected watch at IFA 2019

This is a big first for Puma, which has just unveiled its very first smartwach at IFA 2019. If the accessorist arrives on this market with a little delay, his watch should nevertheless be appreciated by the most athletic, to whom it is dedicated in priority.

Specialized in sporting goods, Puma launches with a certain delay compared to the competition on the market of smartwatch. Soberly entitled "the PUMA smart health connected watch" (difficult to make simpler), the accessory pulsates with the help of a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100. It also has 512 MB of memory and 4 GB of storage space. Since you can also listen to your music through it, you may quickly feel cramped. Puma announces its Wear OS smart health connected watch

The accessory benefits from an openwork aluminum and nylon housing. According to its manufacturer, its textured silicone strap helps reduce perspiration. Operating system side, there are Google Wear OS, which is supported by Google Fit for the coaching and activity monitoring part. And like all smart health connected watches, its dial is fully customizable.

Mainly dedicated to sportsmen and women, the watch obviously incorporates its own GPS (no need for a phone). On the autonomy side, the German company claims that the watch can last up to 24 hours without going through the recharging box. If the watch looks waterproof, since it can be used by swimming daily, Puma has not yet provided further details on its certification.

The Puma watch will be marketed in 3 colors from November 2019 at the price of € 279.
