QLIPP gives advice to tennis players

[ad_1]

We present to you today a new project currently in funding on IndieGogo: QLIPP. On the principle of an anti-vibrator that comes to rest on the racket string, the module will satisfy tennis players wishing to measure and improve the efficiency of their game.

As its name suggests (more or less), QLIPP is a small module that clips onto the string of a tennis racket between two strings, like an anti-vibrator. It is very light (8 grams) and should therefore not be a nuisance to the player, as is his counterpart the Shot Stats Challenger. More than its competitors, which we present in our guide of smart health connected objects for playing tennis, the QLIPP focuses on the advice given to the player via the dedicated application.

Once smart health connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone (iOS or Android), QLIPP analyzes each move with great precision: rotation, speed, tilt, and sends very precise statistics to the application in order to give the player advice to improve their game. A video of the coup can also be taken simultaneously, in order to associate the image with the statistics.

After a few strokes, QLIPP is able to detect the player’s habits, strengths and weaknesses, and thus help him improve by correcting his imperfections. It is possible to work by “sessions”, and then to compare the game between the sessions, thus detecting evolutions.

A social dimension has been integrated into QLIPP, the application allowing users to share their progress with their friends on social networks (even if they certainly don't care).

At the time of writing, the project has raised more than $ 27,000 out of a goal of $ 30,000. It should therefore have completed its funding in the coming days. For the duration of the campaign, it will cost you $ 84 to obtain a QLIPP. Find all the information on the IndieGogo page of the project.
