Qowisio launches its low-speed network for smart health connected objects
Qowisio is a French start-up created in 2009 offering a low-cost wireless network with low energy consumption for smart health connected objects.
The company is not in its infancy since it is present in 29 countries through around fifty customers, therefore already connects thousands of objects around the world and transmits 4.6 million messages every day on his network. Today, the Angevin start-up is set to conquer France and hopes to find a place on the French market. To do so, it relies on Ultra Narrow Band (UNB) technology to provide a long-range low-speed network.
In other words, it wants to offer an ultra low-cost, ultra long-power and ultra long-range network on which short messages pass; a network combining: competitive cost, low consumption and long range. Its core network can connect any object within a radius of 50 to 60 km. Its capacity is one million messages per day.
One of the other advantages of Qowisio is to offer more than just a network. It also offers a range of ready to connect sensors and a cloud platform to manage data. The company is also able to offer to co-develop a tailor-made solution. On its website, tailor-made, R&D and responsiveness are clearly highlighted.
