Rémy Martin creates its smart health connected bottle
The famous manufacturer Rémy Martin (notably known for his famous Louis XIII cognac) has decided to innovate by creating his first smart health connected bottle, called: CLUB smart health connected Bottle.
A great requirement
Luxury brands have understood this, the requirement of their customers can be limitless. This is why the French brand decided to launch its first smart health connected bottle (if you prefer water, it's here), to attest to authenticity of the latter! Developed in partnership with the brand Selinko (specialized in smart health connected objects and the certification of great wines) Rémy Martin, had the excellent idea of adding a NFC sensor (short range wireless communication technology) at the bottle cap. So when a customer buys one of these, he can ensure the validity of his product, that is, to verify that it is not a forgery or that it has not been opened. In addition, a “loyalty” system has been added.

China in first
This new device will be made available (normally before the end of the year), as a priority in chinese nightclubs (country infamous for its counterfeits) then will expand into new markets. To get its functionality, you will need to download the Rémy Martin Centaur Connect app (available on Android), and of course buy the device… worth 95 € all the same. For the moment this system seems to be reserved only for a certain part of consumers, but if the latter was adopted by many brands, the counterfeiting market could suffer a real shock.
