Design and Screen
The dial of the watch is made of stainless steel while the back of the case is made of plastic. Its diameter measures 42.82 mm and there are two models to suit several wrist sizes. The smallest one counts on a case of 12,8 mm of thickness and a bracelet of 18 mm whereas the biggest profits of 13,1 mm for a strap of 20 mm. Unfortunately for me, I inherited the second version which, even when tightened to the maximum is a little too big. As in all cases the case is not in the finesse, the plastic jumps to the eyes and does not arrange the style of the watch: we understand that we are not dealing with a high-end watch.
The brand has opted for a debatable bias for the attribution of colors: pink champagne for the smaller wrists, navy blue and silver gray for larger. In addition, there are only leather straps. Already they do not necessarily breathe quality, it's not pleasant during sports sessions. Even if the watch can boast of being waterproof, wet leather around the wrist is no.
The TicWatch C2 benefits from a 1.3-inch Amoled slab with 360 x 360 pixel resolution. Even though the contrast ratio and maximum brightness are by definition excellent, the slightly lower resolution of 225 dpi does not offer all the expected comfort. This small lack of sharpness is all the more obvious when compared to the competition. I am thinking in particular of the Huawei Watch GT and Honor Watch Magic. Finally, note that the automatic brightness does not exist, so manually adjust at any time of the day or evening to ensure the best readability and to avoid glare. But the screen of this TicWatch has an advantage: a function of type always-on-display, which displays the time permanently without using the battery too much.
