Rythm reveals a helmet to sleep better

Last year, Rythm launched its beta program for a user's sleep quality monitoring headset. Today, the company unveils Dreem, a helmet that will help you sleep better.

After a few adjustments, Dreem is therefore now ready for sale. Many sleep trackers follow the movement of the user. Some use the heart rate and some others use the respiratory rate. Dreem does all of this, but mostly monitors brain activity using the Rythms neurotech.

But what makes Dreem the most interesting is not how it tracks your sleep, but how it promises to improve it. The Dreem has features that will help you sleep; like relaxing sounds or a sequence of words that help eliminate stress. It will also combine sounds with your breathing rhythms, which will help you calm down and fall asleep faster. "On average, we reduce sleep time by 45%. Said Hugo Mercier, CEO and co-founder of Rythms.

Rythms says the headset will also help improve your deep sleep. The headset will work by stimulating your brain with sounds transmitted via bone conduction. Since the beta version, Rythm has made the helmet smaller and more comfortable. He also dressed it in fabric to make it softer. It also has a touch bar on the front that lets you adjust certain settings like volume.

Hugo Mercier said the headset would work for about 15 hours maximum before needing to charge it. Every morning, you can find your sleep score on the smartphone application. You will also be able to see your trends over time and how the quality of your sleep has improved (or worsened) over the weeks and months.

The Dreem costs $ 499. It is available for pre-order for $ 399 until July 15.
