Samsung Gear S2 – Full of new features with the update

The Samsung Gear S2 SmartWatch has not said its last word. The brand has unveiled a new update giving access to new applications, new dials and new features.

The Samsung Gear S2 therefore now offers new applications such as the World Clock application, the ESPN application and the News Briefing application (a kind of Flipboard). New dials are also appearing. The Mendini dials were created by… Alessandro Mendini. The latter had also created bracelets for the Gear S2.

Another very practical feature also appears with this update. Contacts can now be searched directly on the watch. But that's not all ! Other features are also emerging: the ability to type emojis using the keyboard, an unread notification indicator, an alert when the Bluetooth is disconnected, etc. If you can already tell if your smartwatch is smart health connected or not, it seems like the Samsung Gear S2 will let you know more simply.

Contrary to rumors, we are well aware that Samsung is not dropping its Gear S2 smartwatch and continues to improve it. This should encourage and encourage developers to create more apps for the smart health connected watch. This will not prevent him from presenting another smartwatch during the Mobile World Congress 2016 ; but I don't really believe it. The brand presented the Samsung Gear S2 Classic range at CES 2016 at the start of the year and more than highlighted it at the Samsung Forum 2016 last week.
