Samsung to release a round smartwatch

A round smartwatch will see the light of day at Samsung. We were more than certain, the brand confirmed it in a press release.

This round smartwatch, codenamed Orbis, was not presented at the last MWC 2015, as one might think. In a press release entitled "Get ready for the next Gear", Samsung has therefore put an end to months of speculation while taking its time to offer a perfect round smart health watch.

In this press release, the brand also talks about its SDK (Software Development Kit). Normally, the latter should be made available before the product is launched. A good idea since the developers will need a little time to get used to the many changes brought about by the new form of the watch.

On the visual side, have discovered in this press release / teaser, a watch with a round dial and views of applications like those of Yelp, Baidu or even CNN.

At the moment, no date and no price have been announced.
