Sanilea raises 2.5 million euros to accelerate the deployment of its online platform

The fundraising was carried out with the investment fund Extens, specialist in e-health, and Aquiti Gestion, economic interest group (GIE) of the New Aquitaine region.
The funding will allow Sanilea to accelerate the national rollout of "SpeedCall", its online platform for automated management of medical transportation requests.
This fundraising is the second led by Sanilea since the creation of SpeedCall in 2013. A first round table consisting of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Sofimac Partners and the BPI had already raised 1.2 million euros .
As a reminder, the platform allows you to:
make / receive requests for ambulance and taxis reservations
regulate missions fairly between the different transport providers
dematerialize and transmit medical transport prescriptions
reduce empty transport and prioritize shared transport
improve patient care
generate savings on public expenditure linked to medical transport.
The milestone of "million users" in sight
The objective of SpeedCall is to ensure a better organization of the medical transport of patients, without harming the transporters who use the platform. In fact, in order to guarantee fairness between carriers, the distribution of races is done in turn when the patients have not made any particular choice of transport.
In 2019, Sanilea organized the transportation of 400,000 patients and aims to "cross the million mark by 2020", the company said in a press release issued on January 21.
"The platform brings together a constantly growing user community of 2,100 transport companies and 700 healthcare establishments which have already generated more than 3 million mission proposals in 2019," she also claimed.
"Among Sanilea's customers, we find the 120 establishments of the Elsan group, the second private hospital group in France, the 258 health establishments in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the international Orpea-Clinea group and more than 300 private establishments and public (GHT) ", it was added.
In September 2017, the Hospitals of Champagne-Sud (HCS) had decided to acquire the Sanilea platform for a purchase and installation cost of € 65,000, entirely funded by a subsidy from the regional health agency (ARS) Grand Est, we remember.
To support its growth, Sanilea has also just recruited "a dozen" (business developers, productowner, IT developers, customer relations officers, trainers …), she announced.
