Sensoria connects sports bras

[ad_1]

Physical activity sensors are sometimes a bit annoying like smart health connected wristbands. To make the measurement of sporting activity less restrictive, many companies are starting to take an interest in smart health connected clothing, in particular Ralph Lauren who has partnered with OMSignal for a T-Shirt, or Hexoskin which has just released its first T Gifts.

After having raised 5 million dollars from the Italian Reply SpA, the brand Sensoria which has just been renamed thus (it was previously called Heapsylon) wanted to go further than its first product, smart health connected socks: Come now complete the range a bra and a T-shirt. Everyone is sold for $ 79, with a price of $ 149 if you add a heart rate sensor. You can also choose a heart rate monitoring from Polar or Garmin, which are also compatible (you will have to clip them on the bra).

The mobile app tracks the user's physical activity in real time, from calories burned to heart rate, to impact on the heel (for socks, not bras!).

An SDK available

Sensoria quickly made available to developers a development kit (SDK), allowing them to imagine various applications for these clothes. Currently, there are no less than 20 companies working on applications that use the technology. Without naming a name, the company talks about one actor in the world of baseball, and another in dance.

You can find all the brand's products on their official site.

"Beyond health and fitness markets, Sensoria can make an impact in the healthcare industry by monitoring patients remotely – and around the clock – to prevent, manage and detect falls, foot injuries or complications"
