Sensoria Fitness, smart health connected to the socks!

[ad_1]

The rumor has been in the air since last summer. Heapsylon announced the CES 2014 launch of smart health connected socks, the Sensoria Fitness! After raising $ 87,000 during a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo this summer, the product is now available on the Heapsylon website at price of $ 199, about 145 € for 4 pairs smart health connected socks. Without giving more details, the company is working in parallel on the development of a smart health connected T-shirt and bra … Case to follow!

Sensoria Fitness, a better Fitbit Flex?

To publicize its activity, Heapsylon has already established a partnership with the English shoe manufacturer Vivobarefoot. The objective? Offer sports enthusiasts (running…) an optimal combination of shoe + smart health connected socks, in order to measure their performance as effectively as possible: Here we find the indicators already offered by the Fitbit Flex such as the number of steps, the distance traveled or the calories consumed, but also slightly more specific data to improve your running posture: foot placement, friction zones and pressure points. A mobile application (iOS, Android and Windows Phone 8) is available to retrieve the data, which will be transmitted from the socks to the magnetic ankle bracelet via e-textile sensors in the fabric of the socks, then sent to the smartphone via a Bluetooth 4.0 connection (Low Energy).

As announced above, the complete Sensoria Fitness Socks Bundle kit (4 pairs + ankle strap + charger + mobile application) is priced at $ 199 on the manufacturer's website. The first delivery should take place around March 15, 2014.
