Sgnl – Make calls with your finger!
Science fiction films had predicted it: one day we will call with our fingers! Well know that reality is going beyond fiction thanks to Sgnl.
Sgnl is a smart health bracelet that allows you to make calls by placing your finger on your ear. To use it, simply replace the existing strap of your classic watch or smartwatch (Apple Watch, Samsung Gear or Pebble Time).
When you put your finger to the ear, your finger not only transmits sound but it also blocks background noise. So you can hear your caller's voice extremely clearly in noisy places and not worry about whether your neighbor is listening to your phone conversation. Your contact will also extend you in a very distinct way since this bracelet incorporates a microphone.
Sgnl receives the voice signal from your phone via Bluetooth. When a voice signal is received, Sgnl will generate the vibrations of sound through its body conduction unit (BCU), which transmits the vibration through your hand to your finger. Since transmission takes place through vibrations, there is no risk of harm to the human body. Finally, when you place your finger in the ear, the vibration echoes to create an amplified sound in the closed space of your ear.
If you are interested in this product, you can find it and buy it on the KickStarter crowdfunding site. Prices start from $ 90. Delivery is scheduled for February 2017.
