Perennial or annual plant of the asteraceae family, rudbeckia lights up the beds throughout the summer. But where should it be planted to obtain generous flowering?

Bright yellow or orange rudbeckia flowers in flower beds or massive, and lovers of bouquets cut its flowers, often abundant, which resist well in vase. Queen of summer, the rudbeckia, this plant from 40 to 80 centimeters in height seduces by its flowers from 6 to 10 centimeters in diameter with the appearance of large daisies. This very decorative plant is perennial, but there is also an annual variant. It is recommended plant perennials in spring, spacing the plants about 40 centimeters apart. As for annuals, sow them under cover in March or directly in full Earth in April or May, depending on the region. The germination will take five to ten days.

To thrive, all plants have their requirements … Easy maintenance, rudbeckia appreciates any good loam, provided it is well drained. But beware: you must place this plant in full Sun, so that it flowers profusely. Remember to cut the wilted flowers in order to stimulate the plant which will produce new flowers more quickly throughout the summer.
