Siren sock monitors the warmth of diabetic feet

The Siren Diabetic Sock is made from what the company calls Neurofabric. Each sock has several microsensors woven into the material. These sensors continuously monitoring the temperature of each foot at six key locations.

For information, the University of Jerusalem and the German research group Fraunhofer are also developing electronic socks for diabetics that prevent ulcers by measuring the pressure of the foot and not the temperature.
