We now count 16,018 cases of Covid-19 confirmed in France and 674 deaths, or 1559 cases and 112 additional deaths in 24 hours. 7240 people are currently hospitalized, including 1746 in intensive care.

SATURDAY 21 MARCH INFORMATION

France now counts 14,459 confirmed cases and 562 deaths, i.e. 1847 cases and 112 additional deaths in 24 hours. There are 6,172 people hospitalized, including 1,525 serious cases in intensive care. Severe forms are observed even in young adults: 50% of people hospitalized in intensive care are less than 60 years old.

  • The Ministry of Solidarity and Health indicates that "the prolongation of confinement will depend on the respect of the application of confinement by the population and the evolution of the epidemic situation. "

  • The government has changed the terms of the certificate regarding business travel. Employees who have to travel within the framework of their work must have a new document available here. The employer will have to determine the period of validity of the supporting document and the employee will no longer need to have a derogatory certificate in addition.

  • The Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, indicated that the government intended to give itself the means "to evolve quickly on the screening strategy". To date, France counts 9137 confirmed cases and 264 deaths, or 1407 cases and 89 additional deaths in 24 hours.

  • This Wednesday, March 18 marks the first full day of containment in France.

  • To note : the digital versions of the derogatory travel certificate are not valid. Only the paper versions downloaded and printed or reproduced on plain paper are valid in the event of an inspection.

  • In order to avoid the shortage of paracetamol used to combat the symptoms of coronavirus, the National Medicines Agency has decided that the sale of paracetamol would now be suspended on the internet and restricted to pharmacies from March 18. Only one box per person can be sold in pharmacies for people without symptoms and two boxes will be authorized for people suffering from pain or fever. These measures concern the 500mg and 1g boxes. It is also recalled that taking anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen is not recommended in case of symptoms of Covid-19, as stated by the Minister of Solidarity and Health, Olivier Véran.

On this Tuesday March 17, France counts 7730 cases confirmed and 175 deaths, ie 1094 cases and 27 additional deaths.

  • Following the speech by the President of the Republic, a containment system was put in place from midday for a minimum of 15 days. Only the following trips are allowed, provided that you have a certificate :

– From health home to work (if telework is not possible);

INFORMATION FROM MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2020

  • Strong social distancing measures are implemented:
