Smart Air – Haier presents its HomeKit compatible devices

Haier’s Smart Air ecosystem was further revealed at IFA 2015 in Berlin. The brand presented its smart health connected devices, notably compatible with Apple's HomeKit.

Smart Air Haier

Haier’s Smart Air ecosystem is used to monitoring, purify and therefore improve the air in your health home. This product range is made up of Tianzun, Tianbo, Dizun, Jingbo, Air Cube, Air Box and Aemotion. As I said, these devices are smart health connected devices that can be controlled and programmed via mobile devices.

Jingbo will be the first air conditioner in the world to use Apple’s HomeKit protocol. Using a wireless connection with Apple devices, it can in particular be controlled by Siri by renaming the different rooms in the house as technology provides. With the Haier app, users can connect to their health home network and synchronize Jingbo with their iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. Of course, you don't have to use Siri or HomeKit for it to work. It is possible to use only the Haier app. Below you can see the Air Box in a photo.

The Jingbo air conditioner is a very quiet 20 decibel air conditioner and is equipped with features such as rapid cooling in one minute and rapid heating in three minutes thanks to the CFC conversion technology with which it is equipped. Another product caught my attention: Aemotion. The latter is indeed printed … in 3D! With such products, manufacturers like Dyson have nothing to do well! Besides, I was at Dyson last week for the presentation of their humidifier Dyson Humidifier and no smart health connected device is announced yet.

For the moment, the brand has not given any information on the prices and the dates of marketing except that the Jingbo air conditioner will be available later this year. I will keep you informed of developments regarding the Smart Air range as soon as I know more.
