Qualcomm has announced its collaboration with Bluelinea, an operator of smart health connected objects to promote support and health home support for the elderly in France.
Presentation of the partnership
During the 2015 Autonomy Health Fairs, an annual congress for healthcare professionals, Qualcomm announced the collaboration of its Qualcomm Life division (dedicated to device connectivity and data management in the field of health) with Bluelinea (operator of smart health connected objects, to promote support and health home support for the elderly in France).
Bluelinea develops its business on a named offer BlueHomeCare, today used by more than 12,000 elderly people in their homes and by almost 500 specialized establishments. The latter includes the provision of smart health connected objects, access to a platform 24/7 remote monitoring and assistance, connection with a support network (family, loved ones, etc.) and healthcare professionals in France.
The partnership will consist of rstrengthen the BluHomeCare solution of Qualcomm's 2net platform, which allows you to manage data securely.

Qualcomm continues, thanks to this partnership, to growth of its ecosystem with more than 500 companies worldwide, including pharmaceutical, medical device and telehealth service providers. The objective is to build a platform based on data control (hence the multiple partnerships!). Last but not least, Bluelinea brings the money, since the company will pay Qualcomm to use the service of the 2net platform.
