We’ve already seen sensors embedded under the skin, smart pills to track vital signs from inside the body, and smart contact lenses. So maybe it's not that much of an exaggeration to suggest that some of these ideas may come true one day.

In any case, there is still a long way to go for this technology to support us on a daily basis; although many startups are currently working on this type of device.
