SmrtGRiPS smart health connected bike grips

SmrtGRiPS are the first smart health connected bicycle handles in the world and therefore allow you to connect your bicycle.

smrtGRiPS wants to allow us to drive without having to constantly look at a screen. Of course, these smart health connected bike grips are compatible on iOS and Android. What are the functionalities of this smart health smart health connected object?

First, smrtGRiPS will allow us to know where we are going. The handles will vibrate to indicate the route to take. They will also allow you to find your bike or find the bikes of the people with whom you are going on a bike ride. It helps you stay together and not get lost. To install them, nothing could be simpler. You must first unscrew the two locking rings from your existing handles and then remove them. Then replace the external locking ring with the supplied external locking ring and tighten. Finally, insert the smrtGRiPS device into the handle and tighten.

Communicating in Bluetooth 4.2, these handles have a lifespan of 3 months (for a use of two hours per day). You can recharge them thanks to their micro USB IP68 connector.

This project was initiated by the company Bikes Boréal, based in Montreal and whose R & D department is located in Berlin. As a reminder, they had already worked on the bike of the future with the hybrid ebike electric bike. Their objective: to allow the possibility of cycling (but also of scooter, scooter, motorbike, ski, walking, etc.) in an intelligent and fun way.
