The observatory will be responsible "to collect, classify, qualify and make available information and recommendations in the field of radiology within a territory," said Snitem.

"The access to the data of the territory, their analysis are essential to the radiology if one wishes that it is able to evaluate with accuracy, to simulate with precision and to drive with relevance its contributions", has-it- He underlines.

Three pilot projects combining an industrialist and a health facility were announced.

The first, between Canon Medical and the University Hospital of Dijon, focuses on "the role of innovation in radiology (artificial intelligence, type of scanner …) in the quality of care of emergencies from the point of view of diagnosis and economics" .

The second concerns "multifactorial measures of the effectiveness of regional radiology (attractiveness of institutions, access times to MRI on two major pathologies, implementation of post-imaging care plans, quality of diagnosis with or without AI in mammography) "and was established between GE Healthcare and CH Valenciennes (North).

The last one combines Siemens and CH Châlons-sur-Saône (Saône-et-Loire) around "the evaluation of the relevance of imaging requests for the cardiac insufficiency sector".

A presentation of the progress of work is planned for the next francophone radiology days organized by the SFR in Nîmes on June 4 and 5, 2020, the statement said.
