The start-up Lifen offers a messaging service to simplify and facilitate medical communication. Discovery.

Communication between healthcare professionals remains a major problem of the healthcare ecosystem in France. The interoperability of communication systems, the city-hospital relationship and data security are permanent problems for healthcare establishments in France.

To respond to this problem, the start-up Lifen has developed a medical communication platform allowing healthcare establishments and private practitioners to exchange medical data securely.

By simplifying and securing medical communication, Lifen allows healthcare professionals to free upcare times for their patients and hospitals to save money

The Lifen solution meets many needs in the fluidity of medical communication:

  • Sending medical letters electronically via secure messaging, ensuring deliverability and traceability

  • Automatic feeding of DMP with medical reports

  • Use of a health professional directory updated on a daily basis, andaggregating several sources (MSSANTE, Apicrypt, RPPS)

  • Dematerialization of shipments to patients

Lifen easily integrates with all business software via the document printing functionality. The artificial intelligence developed by Lifen analyzes the report in search of the patient and the recipient. The document is then automatically sent to the recipient (s) by the most relevant channel by electronic means (MS Santé, Apicrypt, Zepra, Medimai) or by post.

The management of medical consignments is completely secure. Lifen is an official operator MSSanté (ASIP Santé) and health data stored at an approved host.

Founded in 2015 by Franck Le Ouay, Alexandre Huckert and Etienne Depaulis, the company employs 80 people and has enabled the sharing of more than 5 million medical documents per year with more than 90,000 practitioners.
