Sony's SmartBand 2 revealed by mistake

[ad_1]

This is not the first time that a company has mistakenly revealed its latest product, but the way Sony has done it is quite surprising. The Japanese giant has released a new application on the Google Play Store called "SmartBand 2" with screenshots that allow you to guess the functionality of the new smart health connected bracelet.

Sony created its hole with its first physical activity sensor, the Sony SmartBand that we tested. Its Lifelog application not only tracked the physical performance of the wearer, but also a large number of activities such as time spent daily on social networks (cooling more than one user, etc.). The new application for this new Sony smart health connected bracelet is much more fitness oriented, but it still allows you to always make the bridge with the Lifelog application.

Sony embarks on heart rate

We guess that there will be a heart rate sensor on the Sony SmartBand 2 SWR12 which would measure the pulse and heart rate throughout the day. As with many competitors, Sony will also offer the possibility of having an intelligent alarm clock (probably also based on heart rate), which will allow the user to wake up during a light sleep cycle. It will also be possible to have a small vibration on each notification that is received on the smart health connected smartphone. In the description of its application, Sony says that it is optimized for its Xperia smartphones, but there is no reason why it does not work on other Android phones.

Since then, the app has been removed from the Play Store …
