Spring roll
Ingredients for spring roll/ 2 persons
1lettuce
1package or bundle of soy
1pork pie
1packet of peanuts without salt
12small prawns
1bunch of fresh mint
1package large sheets of rice
1small package of Chinese noodles

PREPARATIONSpring Roll
1Cook about 10 minutes Chinese noodles in a pan of water. Wash and remove eachleaf lettuce (cut into 2 ones that are too big. Wash and halve shrimp (inlength). Slice fresh mint. Slice the pork pie. Wash soybeans. Mash peanut insmall pieces.
2 In a bowl add and mix:Chinese noodles, soy, crushed peanuts, pork pie sliced, chopped fresh mint.
3Dampen with warm water the rice paper. Spread on a clean sheet of rice cloth.Tap the sheet with a towel to remove excess moisture (beware rice leaves arefragile!)
Finally for spring roll recipe
Adda little stuffing in the center of the rice paper. Fold both sides of the ricepaper over the filling. Then make a roll (take care to maintain and tighten theroller by rolling).

Combine butterand cheese in the food processor and mix until creamy. Add remainingingredients and blend until dough almost forms a ball in the food processor.Shape into a roll 2 inches round and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerateovernight. Slice rolls into 1/4 inch pieces – place 2 inches apart on cookiesheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until edges are brown. Coolon rack. Sprinkle with paprika and serve immediately. Serving Ideas : Greatwith a glass of sherry!!!

1 Loafsandwich bread; thin-sliced1 cn Cream of mushroom soup12 Strips bacon; halved
BowknotsPreparation
Trim all crustoff bread. Spread soup on one side of bread slices, being careful to coveredges. Roll each slice from one corner to opposite corner. Wrap half baconstrip around middle. Secure with toothpick. Place on cookie sheet and bake at250 degrees for 1 hour. Bowknots will be dry and crisp and very delicious.Prepared bowknots can be frozen before baking. Place on flat pan and whenfrozen solid transfer to freezer bags. Bake without thawing. Per serving: 24Calories; 2g Fat (75%calories from fat); 1g Protein; 0g Carbohydrate; 3mg Cholesterol; 94mg Sodium.
