12small cooked shrimp

3carrots, grated

1/4grated cucumber

1pork chop

2 dl chicken stock

400 g beansprouts

1tablespoon chopped fresh coriander

4sprigs of fresh mint

8sheets of crisp lettuce

8rice cakes

15 g of chopped ginger

2tablespoons rice vinegar (or cider)

2tablespoons soy sauce

PREPARATION spring rolls recipe

1Wash the bean sprouts . Blanch 1 minute. Drain , rinse with cold water anddrain again . Peel the shrimp .

2Heat the broth. Boning pork chop and cut the meat into thin strips. Dip themeat in the broth and poach for 5 minutes over low heat. Drain and cool . Soakthe rice between two wet towels .

3 In a shallow pan , mix 2grated carrots, cucumber, bean sprouts , pork strips and cilantro.

4Top each patty with the previous preparation and 2 shrimp. Fold the side edgesand roll the cake by squeezing into a roll . Keep cool until ready to serve .

Finally

Mixtogether the ginger, soy sauce , rice vinegar and remaining grated carrot .Pour into small individual bowls . Arrange the spring rolls on a bed oflettuce. Serve this spring rolls recipe with the sauce and mint sprigs .

Preheat theoven to 275 F. Sliceacross the top of each garlic head to expose the buds. Pack the heads into ashallow baking dish, dot each one with butter and pour the olive oil over them.Season with salt, pepper and dill and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until tender(almost mushy), basting occasionally. Blend the Chevre with the yogurt, addingsalt if desired. Put the Chevre sauce in a dish and serve with the garlic, onehead or more per person. Squish the innards of the garlic all over the bread,smear it in the oil (from the baking dish) and the cheese sauce, and eat tillyou’re messy.

Cream butter,sugar, egg and vanilla until fluffy. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa,baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Shape dough into two 1 1/2 thickrolls. Wrap in waxed paper. Chill for several hours. Place slices on ungreasedcookie sheet. Decorate by drawing the tines of a fork across each slice. Bakeat 375 F for 8-10 min. or untilalmost firm. Meanwhile, combine filling ingredients except food coloring andmint or strawberry extract. Beat until spreading consistency. If desired,divide filling half ~ tint half pink and half green. Add appropriate extract toeach one. Cool cookies, then spread wrong side of cookie and top with secondcookie. Makes 36 sandwiches.
