Deeplink, publisher of software for healthcare professionals, announced on December 2 that it raised five million euros from a pool of investors composed of doctors, its founders (up to three million) and Bpifrance and BNP. The Lyon start-up hopes to deploy its telemedicine solutions and strengthen its teams.

9000 medical users for ITIS

Created in 2014, this young company specializes in telemedicine platforms with two flagship solutions. ITIS is an application dedicated to teleradiology that allows health facilities to provide radiology 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In concrete terms, it makes it possible to interpret the results remotely. ITIS is now deployed in more than 70 French hospitals and claims 9000 medical users.

Used in clinical trials, MIRO is a web platform designed by oncologists and radiologists to monitoring and evaluate solid tumors. It is also used routinely to evaluate, in real time, the response to treatments and ensure very accurate monitoring of cancerous lesions.

Repaid by Social Security, telemedicine acts exploded in 2019 to reach 500,000 in France. And this development is not about to stop. according to a study Xerfi published in 2019, we should reach 1.3 million acts of telemedicine in 2021.
