Ingredients for steamed dumplings

250g flour

1/2teaspoon salt

Forthe filling:

1leek

200gminced pork tenderloin

1clove garlic

1tablespoon soy sauce

1egg white

4tablespoons of sesame oil

forthe sauce:

4tablespoons of soy sauce

2tablespoons vinegar

1pinch of ground pepper

Preparation

Siftflour with salt, make a well in center and pour in 15 ounces of warm water.

Kneadthe dough until it is smooth. Form a ball and let rest 30 minutes.

Meanwhile,prepare the filling: Clean the leek and discard the green and tough leaves.

Chopfinely. Gently return 4-5 minutes chopped leek in two tablespoons of oil withthe garlic clove. Remove and replace with ground pork tenderloin.

Cook2-3 minutes. Let cool.

Mixthe leek with meat, egg white, soy sauce and a tablespoon of sesame oil soup.

Spreadthe dough thinly and cut out discs or 8 9 cm in diameter. Spread the filling inthe center of each disc of dough and form small purses. *

Bakewith steam for about 20 minutes.

Preparethe sauce by mixing soy sauce, vinegar, crushed garlic and chili paste.

Servehot dumplings with sauce on the side.

1Drain and dice pimientos. In skillet over medium 12-high heat, cook groundbeef, green pepper, and onion, stirring occasionally, until, meat is brownedand onion and pepper are tender. Stir in water, tomato paste, pimientos, andsauce mix; over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover; simmer15 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare ziti as label direct. Drain. Serve meat sauceover ziti.
