As the study by the market research institute YouGov shows, the majority of Germans can imagine transmitting their patient data to the doctor electronically in certain situations.

82 percent of Germans are open to eHealth applications. In the event of a chronic illness, 51 percent would even transmit their digital health data to the doctor. Half of the respondents would also use such monitoring for acute illnesses. In contrast, only 26 percent would pass on their data for rehabilitation or therapy support or to pay lower health insurance contributions. 40 percent of all those surveyed agreed to continuously monitoring their health by constantly transmitting their health data.

The study concludes “Internet 4.0 Smart Health & Smart Care“From the Cologne market research institute YouGov. The study is based on a survey of 2,000 participants and the results of a continuous survey of 60,000 people. A Bitkom study also comes to similar results: 60 percent of those surveyed would pass on their patient data to treating doctors.
