Report suspicious cases

Public Health France announced strengthen surveillance of e-cigarettes in order to report suspected cases of poisoning. An alert tool is being developed on this subject, in collaboration with pulmonologists and anesthesiologists.

This decision follows the seven vapers who died in the United States and the 400 others who were hospitalized, suffering from lung diseases. However, it should be noted that some of them had inhaled illegal substances, THC and cannabis oil. For 20% of them, the troubles remain unexplained for the moment. Following lung infections in US vapers, New York State and India have decided to ban the sale of flavored electronic cigarettes. India is the first country to completely ban the import, sale but also advertising and production of electronic cigarettes on its territory.
