Form has partnered with Polar to incorporate heart rate display into its Swim smart health connected swimming goggles. A heart rate monitor, located against the temple, transmits the measurements in real time.

Available since the beginning of August, Swim smart health connected swimming goggles are the perfect tool for swimmers looking for performance. Indeed, thanks to their increased reality display on glasses, they give real-time information about swimming. These include distances traveled, times at certain stages, and total times. Will soon be added to these data a heart rate indicator.

Form, manufacturer of Swim eyewear, has partnered with the company specializing in smart health connected sport watches and Polar fitness trackers. The latter provides heart rate technology. Thus, from November, the glasses will receive a free update. They will become compatible with Polar's OH1 and OH1 + heart rate sensors.

The Form Swim application allows to review all its data

Heart rate data is displayed in the same way as other information, ie on the glasses glass. The Polar heart rate monitor is contained in a small box which fits on the tether and is positioned at the temple. Everything is transmitted, wirelessly and in real time, to the Swim eyewear. In addition, it is possible to find all this data after swimming sessions on the dedicated application of Form. It also compares measurements heart rate with those of speed, times achieved or calories burned.

Swim swimming goggles are the first to offer the constant display of heart rate to swimmers. They no longer need to stop or leave the water to check this important information for their training. The pair is sold for 199 dollars on the Form site. It is still necessary to add the 80 euros Polar heart rate monitor to get the function. That makes one of the best accessories for swimmers who want to improve.
