The Directorate General for Healthcare (DGOS) organized the first edition of the "Talk to us telemedicine" trophies. Discovery of the winners.
The Directorate General for Health Care (DGOS), integrated into the Ministry of Solidarity and Health, develops and ensures the implementation of public policies capable of responding to the challenges that the health system will face in the coming years: in concrete terms, meeting the growing healthcare needs of the population while ensuring the sustainability of solidarity-based funding.
At the national level, the missions of the general direction of the care offer (DGOS) are all oriented towards a major objective: to think and build the care offer of tomorrow in close consultation with the institutional decision-makers, the professional interlocutors, the representatives of patients and health users.
It is in this context that the DGOS organized the first edition of the "Talk to us about telemedicine" competition with the aim of promoting the development of telemedicine in France. Aimed at all the teams that participated in the implementation of a telemedicine project, it allows sharing of each other's experiences and gives other health professionals the desire to embark on the adventure.
This edition constitutes a real success with 35 videos promoting a wide range of practices. The videos include 12 participating regions, 16 medical specialties, 3 areas of practice, salaried workers and liberal activities, as well as 4 types of telemedicine: teleconsultations, tele expertise, telesurveillance and teleassistance.
5 winning projects and a jury favorite
On Tuesday September 3, the DGOS organized the “Parlez-vous Télémédecine” Trophy ceremony which rewarded the best videos selected by a national jury, made up of representatives from the Ministry, the High Health Authority (HAS), the fund National Health Insurance (CNAM), the French Telemedicine Society (SFT) and France Assos Santé.
5 trophies and a special prize were therefore awarded to teams deploying simple telemedicine, strengthening access to care and the link with the patient as well as collaboration between professionals:
by Nicolas Revel, DG of CNAM, to Dr Ludovic Moy for his project of teleconsultation in medically assisted procreation, facilitating access to all care, including specialized care
by Dominique le Guludec, president of the HAS, at the Saint-Hélier health center in Rennes for his teleconsultation for chronic wound, helping patients to stay at health home
by Nathalie Salles, president of the SFT, at the Calydial dialysis center of GHM Les Portes du Sud for her remote monitoring on dialysis, a way to reassure patients through simple and secure tools

by Laura Létourneau, ministerial delegate for digital health, at GH Artois-Ternois for her project around teleconsultation in nephrology, in close proximity to patients.
A special jury prize was awarded by Katia Julienne, director general of care, to the team at the Macon departmental health home and care center for her ehealth " Let's sing telemedicine »In nursing homes. In addition to its original format, this project is a fun illustration of the team spirit that surrounds any telemedicine project.
Beyond this, the competition above all reveals the need for everyone to commit to the development of telemedicine – and tomorrow, tele-care – for the benefit of users, which Agnes Buzyn reminded at the end of the award ceremony. Trophies. For the Minister, in fact, it is essential to give concrete value to telemedicine to which we are collectively attached: namely, telemedicine at the service of patients and adapted to the needs of each territory. This desire is illustrated in the My Health 2022 strategy, which is primarily focused on this dynamic on the ground around medical projects shared by stakeholders.
