Tambour Horizon – The Louis Vuitton smartwatch on Android

Tambour Horizon is the first Louis Vuitton smartwatch on Android. Three models have been unveiled by the luxury brand: Noir, Graphite and Monogram. All have a stainless steel body and buckles with sapphire crystal on the back.

Tambour Horizon also offers 60 interchangeable strap options, 30 for men and 30 for women. Ideal for personalizing your smartwatch a bit. All three models are also water resistant up to 30 meters deep.

Louis Vuitton therefore offers us a fairly complete smartwatch. Equipped with a 1.2 inch AMOLED touch screen, 390 x 390, it runs on Android Wear 2.0. So you can pair it with Android and iPhone smartphones. The Louis Vuitton smartwatch is also equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor; the same one that already equips LG Watch Sport and Style. The watch therefore has 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage. In terms of connectivity, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are in the game. Finally, a 300mAh battery will allow you to use it for at least a whole day.

As Drum Horizon works with Wear 2.0, you will benefit from all the new features introduced in the latest Google software update, including downloading apps directly from the watch and enhanced Google Fit features.

Louis Vuitton will obviously be very present via the many wallpapers offered with its smart health connected watch. The brand has also taken care to preload a few homemade applications.

The first application is City Guide. It will determine your location and choose good restaurants, bars or shops in seven world capitals. There is also My Flight, an application that lets you track your flight while alerting you to delays and schedule changes.

The LV smartwatch collection is available at prices starting around 2700 euros for the Graphite and Monogram models. The most expensive Black model is offered at a starting price around 2900 euros. The bracelets are offered from 260 euros. The charger is marketed at a price of 150 euros.
