The "advanced tracking" of sleep arrives on the Polar A370

The Finnish company Polar has announced the arrival in June of a new activity and sleep sensor: the Polar A370.

This will allow follow the heart rate continuously, with a measurement every five minutes. Thanks to his new 3D accelerometer, the brand ensures greater accuracy.Wearing a touchscreen displaying the notifications, the smart health connected bracelet will be waterproof (WR30 standard) and will allow the GPS location if it is paired with a smartphone.

The big news is the arrival of Polar Sleep Plus, what Polar calls "Advanced sleep monitoring". Working with a built-in algorithm, this feature is also made possible thanks to the new 3D accelerometer that track the quality of sleep by continuously measuring the heart rate.

In detecting the phases of falling asleep and waking up as well as the time spent sleeping in addition to allowing users to note sleep when getting up, the Polar A370 creates "sleep patterns" which will serve as a reference for the next nights.

This new smart health connected bracelet promises 4 days of autonomy and is already available for pre-order, for a official release expected in June at 199 €. Bracelets of different colors will be offered at € 24.90.

With these features, the Polar A370 is in direct competition with the Samsung Gearfit 2 and Fitbit Charge 2.
