For now, professionals wishing to use the e-CPS must have the health professional card before being able to activate the e-CPS online, remember.
It will no longer be necessary "from the second quarter of 2020," said Jean-François Parguet during the national days of industry organized by the Asip Health Thursday in Paris.
By enabling users to authenticate with their smartphone, "the e-CPS responds to a strong demand for mobility of professionals" who will be able to do without the card reader, argued Jean-François Parguet.
The deployment of e-CPS, on which Asip Health has been working since the end of 2018, corresponds to Action No. 5 of the Digital Health Strategic Roadmap presented last April, it is recalled.
An amendment to the law on the organization and transformation of the health system promulgated in July authorized the government to extend the procedures for the identification and authentication of health professionals by order in order to review the use of the CPS card.
Pro health connect already available on iPhone
Jean-François Parguet also announced that "Pro Health Connect", the national provider of industry identity health professionals backed by e-CPS, is "available on Apple smartphones for a week." It was already available on Android for several months, he said.
This service is operational "for all CPx cardholders" (midwives, masseurs-physiotherapists, dentists …). "Pro health connect" can be used as a unique means of accessing the service or as a complement to another solution, said Jean-François Parguet.
The National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM) is experimenting with this system on the Patient Info teleservice: professionals can log in by entering their health insurance number and password or via the e-CPS application. -He specifies.
"Pro health connect" frees publishers "authentication and maintenance constraints" and "eliminates authentication disparities," he argued.
It is based on the openID protocol, technology used by the unique FranceConnect administration identification portal. A procedure for integrating "Pro santé connect" and a Review environment are available on the Asip Santé website, said Jean-François Parguet.
Technical support available "24 hours a day, 365 days a year" will be operational by 1 January 2020.
