For 50 dollars, sports enthusiasts and tech-savvy athletes can equip themselves with a smart health connected bracelet to allow them to measure and analyze certain performance indicators.

Compared to the Nike Fuelband, the Jawbone Up24 and other smart health connected bracelets for athletes, the Bowflex Boost stands out for its very inexpensive price: it sells for more than half the price of its competitors.

What about the features?At this price, some may be suspicious of the Bowflex Boost. But in addition to being put on the market at an unbeatable price, the product also has a few other advantages up its sleeve:

• an indicator light whose color changes according to the progress of the athlete compared to the goal he has set.

• synchronization with an iOS or Android application via bluetooth 4.0.

The public of Bowflex Boost remains relatively limited for the moment due to its non-compatibility with Android smarthphones. There is no indication, however, that its designers will not improve it in the near future so that they can give their bracelet one more chance to appear on everyone's wrist. For the moment, in fact, apart from the price, the characteristics of this smart health connected bracelet are not enough to cause great enthusiasm among consumers.
