The first smart health connected beauty mask

MAPO is the first smart health connected beauty mask in the world. The result of two years of research and development, MAPO was invented and patented by the company Wired Beauty.

MAPO is a multifunction mask smart health connected and easy to use. Based on the principle that our skin is a living protective barrier composed mainly of water and that the water content plays a key role in cell renewal and skin protection, MAPO's mission is in particular to ensure the skin moisture.

Every day, your skin is exposed to different types of stress, such as the sun, pollution, smoke, or inappropriate dermo-cosmetic routines. This leads day after day to dehydration of the skin and to its premature aging. Everyone is affected: dry skin, oily skin, etc. You can also use it if your skin feels tight when you remove your makeup or if you are wondering if your cream is effective enough.

Made of flexible medical grade silicone to ensure flexible and secure contact with your skin, MAPO also incorporates flexible electronics that allow it to communicate with your smartphone via Bluetooth. But then how does it work? Once the mask is on the face, the latter first performs a check-up of your skin in less than a minute using sensors placed at key points on the face. The smart health connected mask will then measure the hydration of your skin and also adjust the hydrating power of your cream. You will then find all the information collected on the Smartphone application. The application will also allow you to find solutions to your skin problems.

If you want to know more, take a little tour on the KickStarter crowdfunding site. The mask is available in presale from 199 euros. Also watch this short demonstration ehealth to see the mask in action.
