Music softens manners … in normal times. But what about during confinement? Is it better to melodies that accompany his state of mind or on the contrary tunes that shake his mood. The platform of streaming musical Spotify has published a series of playlists to motivate and appease those currently confined. They were designed by a university professor specializing in musical analysis. DJ Professor Chill's playlists

" Like most people, I am confined to my health home most of the time. The radio repeats the same info depressing, my son is not at school and he is climbing walls, nobody sleeps well, we don't go out enough and my diet is not as balanced as I would like, but, music can change our environment during the day Commented the professor.

These playlists are already available on the Spotify platform, the first is called Good Morning World!, and lets start the day off right with titles like: Wake Up Boo! by Boo Radley, Lovely day by Bill Withers or the essential Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go from Wham. " Waking up and the start of the day is important. It is vital that the days remain structured, to get up at the same time as usual in order to successfully sleep at night Said Professor Till.

The second selection of songs of the musicologist is called Songs to Lift Your Mood, it looks like a positive playlist with in particular the title Happy by Pharrell Williams, Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves and What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.

The last, And Relax, includes " cool and atmospheric titles to soothe the mind " as Over The Rainbow of Eve Cassidy, At The River from Groove Armada or Flower duet from the Lakmé opera by Delibes. " There will come a time when you are going to need to relax, slow down and open up your mental space. (…) Here are some titles to help you lower your heart rate and rest Added Professor Till.
