The modified Nest E Thermostat finally arrives in Europe in a modified version

Google, owner of Nest, announced the Nest E Thermostat in the United States in August 2017. More than a year later, this little thermostat is finally coming to Europe.

The Nest E Thermostat has the same design as the American version: a white box with a frosted screen. But it will also be provided with integrated support in Europe; to provide users with more flexibility in placement.

The Nest E Thermostat finally arrives in Europe

In the United States, the Nest E thermostat is wired and wall mounted, like the Nest Learning Thermostat 3.0. The European model, meanwhile, allows users to place the thermostat E in the room of their choice; provided it has a power outlet. It therefore provides more precise control of the temperature in the room most important to you.

The Heat Link E, which has a structure similar to that of the Google health home Mini, will then replace the existing thermostat. Nest users will be able to install it themselves in one hour; using the detailed instructions in the Nest app.

The Heat Link E acts as a second temperature gauge. This helps users to reach the desired temperature throughout their health home. It also has a button in the center to physically activate your heating; or replace a program without the Nest app.

Nest Thermostat E has many of the more expensive Learning Thermostat 3.0 features, including health home / away assistance, automatic scheduling, reports, and an eco option. But the new thermostat will also come with a preset schedule feature in Europe.

This calendar was created from thermostat user data and is predefined according to habits; the idea being that users save energy immediately; without having to do anything. The more you use thermostat E, the more it will learn from your daily routines. Obviously, you will always be able to modify the predefined schedule according to your preferences.

The Nest E thermostat will be available for € 199 from mid-October.
