The PIQ x Mobitee golf sensor is available!

The start-up PIQ announced last July the release of a sensor to measure its golf performance. The company that raised $ 5 million commercializes since today this little clip "smart health connected", and enjoys a partnership with the specialized application Mobitee to make a splash.

While many smart health connected device makers are looking to focus on a particular sport, PIQ is looking to attract multiple disciplines with its intelligent performance sensor. Walking on Zepp's boards, which also publishes a multi-sport sensor, PIQ has teamed up with Babolat to release a solution adapted to tennis soon. To this, its solution for golf enthusiasts available since today created the sensation. An alliance of experience and technology

Mobitee is today one of the most popular mobile apps among golf enthusiasts, and has in its library no less than 35,000 golf courses in the world. This collaboration brings together the best between experience and technology: The PIQ sensor that integrates gyroscope, accelerometers, altimeter and other NFC chips records a series of data that it displays live on a mobile application, iOS (7+) or Android (4.3+).

Among the measures recorded, we find the performance of each shot, the quality / speed of the swings or the distance on the green.
