Software publisher for communities and public administrations, health, medico-social, education, industry and transport sectors, the Berger-Levrault group "is part of its strategic plan intended to strengthen its positions and expertise through innovation and the development of software platforms, "the group said in a press release.

With the acquisition of Expertiz Santé, Berger-Levrault wants to provide digital and public solutions to public and private health facilities and thus respond to two major challenges:

• dematerialization (simplify, speed up and secure exchanges)

• interoperability (mastering the exchange of information between different departments and their patients).

Expertiz Santé – based in the Loire department (42) – generated sales of 2.1 million euros in 2018 and has 24 employees. Already established on the private clinic market, Expertiz Santé now intends to "develop on new public targets" and to project itself internationally, thanks to its acquisition by Berger-Levrault.

With 1,700 employees and 90% of its activity devoted to digital, the Berger-Levrault group claims, in 2019, a turnover "close to 170 million euros, up 15% compared to 2018".
