The Razer Nabu compatible iOS, Android and Windows Phone

[ad_1]

The famous Razer Nabu has been waiting for CES 2015 now. About ten days ago, the organization in charge of telecommunications in the United States validated the bracelet for its marketing. Today we see the iOS, Android and Windows Phone mobile applications (!!) arrive on the blinds. Logically, we can expect an exit from the device by Christmas …

In addition to these mobile applications which are now available, Razer has launched a dedicated site for its bracelet, nabu.razerzone.com. In fact, it is not one, but two mobile applications that will be downloaded, a bit like the Sony Smartband. Firstly, Nabu Utility will allow you to configure the Razer Nabu (installation + configuration of notifications), while Nabu Fitness will be in charge of displaying physical performance (number of steps, distances, calories, sleep, etc.). We also see the Health logo on the dedicated site, which therefore confirms that the Nabu Fitness application is integrated into the program Apple HealthKit

Is it still as sensational?

Last January, the device looked truly revolutionary, with the ability to see on a screen not only physical activity, but also notifications from a smartphone. Unfortunately, it experienced many delays (it was due to arrive in September in the United States), which will force it to compete against the latest smart health connected watches, but also with the latest bracelets like the Jawbone UP3 which is also fully waterproof …

On the side of the advantages of the bracelet, one can however underline a functionality of “social” which makes it possible to connect to other users of the bracelet in offline mode, thanks to a proprietary technology. For those who have a Windows Phone, it is also a good alternative to the Fitbit brand, which is currently the only one to offer an application compatible with this type of device. Finally, the CEO said last July that its price would be very competitive, and located below $ 100 … Case to follow!

And you, what do you think of the Razer Nabu?
